Retouching

Retouching = Airbrushing = Photoshopping

The reality is that every professionally done image is retouched to some degree. That is why we have developed our style of photography so that it works in symbiosis with the retouching. When the photography is done well, the retoucher can take it to a level that would not be possible unless the photographer knew what the retoucher can do with the image. This also reduces the amount of retouching actually needed.

How evident it is that something has been done is down to the skills of the retoucher. There are basically two options: go mad or stay subtle. The skill is in knowing which approach to choose in which case, and then being able to deliver it competently.

We have worked for the top end clients like Mario Testino (Vogue covers, campaigns for Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana etc), The Art Group (Ikea, Tate Modern, The Smithsonian), Tapestry – Mullis morgan Group (Marks & Spencer, Samsung, French Connection), The Body Shop, Suzuki and Unilever Faberge and Foods.

Depending on our capacity we may take on post-production work from outside our studio so please contact to enquire.
